“An Hour of Real Computer Science in Action”
Try out the Hour of Code activities to explore the various computer science concepts in action. The activities are designed so that they can be completed self-paced with video tutorials and student guides.

  • The Cybersecurity Investigator – This activity consists of two activities. In the first one, we look into a suspicious text message with a mysterious link. Then we use a Linux command to check out the link without clicking on it. Then in Activity 2, we trace data and see how it travels through under ocean cables.   • The Data Visualization with Python uses real College Board data to visualize AP computer science trends.
  • The Retro Pygame uses the popular Pygame library to create a Space Invader-type game.
